If parenting and child support are the only legal issues on your certificate, and, after speaking to your client, you believe that there is merit to pursue spousal support as well, Legal Aid will need an opinion from you detailing merit and complexity of the legal issue.
You can utilize up to two hours on the existing certificate for the opinion, and if you need to request additional hours for the matter, the time required for the merit opinion will be taken into consideration.
