In the example above there has been $500.00 of charges billed to this client’s account and the client has paid $300.00 towards their Legal Aid bill before the time frame identified in this statement. In the time frame captured on the statement there was one invoice for $100.00 and two payments of $25.00. So the total charges billed is $600.00 ($500.00+$100.00) and total payments received is $350.00 ($300.00+$25.00+$25.00). Leaving the current balance owing at $250.00 ($600.00-$350.00)
