Registration is now open for an exciting in-person immigration training opportunity focused on discussing current immigration case law, sharing best practices, and problem-solving common challenges.
The workshops will take place in our Calgary and Edmonton offices and will focus on admissibility hearings, detention reviews and removal appeals. While attendance at LAA’s virtual training session on Feb. 9 is not a prerequisite, the workshop will help attendees integrate lessons from that session into their practice.
Each workshop will last 3 hours. There will be one session in the morning and a different session in the afternoon. Those interested will only need to attend one of the sessions. There are 20 spots available in each session.
Registration is first-come, first-served. The registration page will be updated once all openings have been filled. Submitting the registration form does not guarantee a spot in the workshop. The form will be used to fill available openings and then to create a waitlist.
You will be notified within 1-2 business days of registering whether you are confirmed as an attendee or are on the waitlist. Additional information including the agenda, detailed directions on how to access our office and room/floor number will be provided in advance to all confirmed attendees.
