Understanding Psychological Testing in Child Welfare Assessments

LAA is hosting a virtual education session on Friday, Jan. 23 from 1 – 4 p.m. on psychological assessments and testing used in various types of child welfare capacity assessments.

The session will feature Dr. Valerie Massey, and Dr. Don Massey, clinical psychologists and neuropsychologists, and Ashley V. Massey, psychometrist.

This session will cover psychological tests commonly used in assessments — when they are most appropriate, what is involved in the testing, how results are standardized and how to challenge them.

There are a small number of in‑person seats for this session at our downtown Edmonton office (10123 99 St. NW). Spots are limited and offered on a first‑come, first‑served basis. You can select this option when registering.

Spend the afternoon learning about each test and its applications.
