This summer we successfully expanded Legal Aid Alberta’s Client Gateway to include additional areas of law; we’re pleased to share that family roster duty counsel are now invited to use the platform.
The Client Gateway is a secure, online tool that allows approved users to help clients apply for legal aid coverage quickly and easily. You may have heard about it — now’s your opportunity to see how it can support your duty counsel work.
While using the Gateway is optional, it offers a fast, convenient alternative for clients to apply without needing to call LAA. With a simple, streamlined online form, you can assist clients in applying for coverage — often in just a few minutes.
