A new five-part webinar series on bail hearings produced by Legal Aid Alberta is proving to be popular with lawyers across the province.
Nearly 200 lawyers and articling students have registered for the entire series, which premiered May 14.
The series premier was co-presented by LAA staff lawyer Katie Clackson and Sarah Kondor, with the Edmonton law firm Dawson Duckett Garcia & Johnson. Clackson and Kondor shared their practical knowledge and experience with approximately 160 lawyers in attendance, reviewing the basics of bail hearings.
The series gives lawyers and students at law a deep dive into all aspects of bail hearings. The complete schedule is available online and the episodes will be posted in our training archive for on-demand learning.
