There have been significant changes to immigration and refugee law. Figuring out these changes can be overwhelming — but you don’t have to go through it alone.
In recognition of World Refugee Day, Legal Aid Alberta is hosting a free online information session for refugee claimants, immigration service providers and anyone supporting someone through the refugee process.
This session will focus on recent legislative changes introduced through Bill C-12 and what they mean for refugee claimants.
Attendees will learn:
- Key changes affecting the refugee claim process
- The impact these changes may have on refugee claimants
- When and how to contact Legal Aid Alberta
This session is designed to help you feel more informed and prepared.
Legal Aid Alberta provides legal assistance to eligible Albertans and newcomers to Canada, including support with immigration and refugee matters.
Please note: This session focuses on refugee claimants. It will not cover other changes introduced by Bill C-12. Some information may be broadly applicable, but these topics will not be addressed in detail.
