Virtual Information Session

Family Violence: How Legal Aid Alberta can help you take steps to stay safe

Register below to join a free virtual information session on Wednesday, November 30, from noon to 1 p.m. MST to learn how Legal Aid Alberta can help you protect yourself or a loved one.

Victims often need help and support from family and friends to get out of a dangerous situation.

Legal Aid Alberta is offering an online information session for Albertans to learn how an emergency protection order works and how LAA lawyers can help. Hear from lawyers on our Emergency Protection Order Program team and ask questions.

Please note: This session aims to educate the public about Legal Aid Alberta services and is not intended as a forum to obtain legal advice.

November is Family Violence Prevention Month. This free public webinar coincides with the global 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence Campaign (16 Days Campaign), which concludes on December 10 with International Human Rights Day.
