Free public webinar
Wednesday, March 20, 2024
12 – 1 p.m.

About

Learn more about the legal services our lawyers provide, our clients, and what they can expect along their Legal Aid Alberta journey. We are dedicated to ensuring transparent, barrier-free access to justice.

More Albertans will qualify for legal aid representation starting April 1, when changes to income eligibility come into effect.

Individuals with gross incomes of up to $30,000 will qualify for assistance in eligible criminal, family, and immigration cases. Income thresholds for larger households, including families with two to six or more members, will adjust proportionally.

At Legal Aid Alberta, our clientele is diverse, spanning socioeconomic backgrounds. While some face financial hardships and homelessness, others are gainfully employed, striving to make ends meet paycheque to paycheque.

Don’t miss this opportunity to gain valuable insights and learn how Legal Aid Alberta can assist you or someone you know.
