In recognition of World Refugee Day, Legal Aid Alberta is hosting a free online information session for refugee claimants, immigration service providers, and anyone supporting someone through a refugee claim.
This session will provide helpful tips and information:
- When and how to contact Legal Aid Alberta
- How to prepare for your refugee hearing
- Best practices when working with your lawyer
Whether you’re just starting a claim or are in the middle of your case, this session will help you feel more confident and informed.
Legal Aid Alberta offers affordable legal services to Albertans and newcomers to Canada, including assistance with immigration and refugee claims.
This session specifically focuses on refugee claims. Some tips may be applicable to other immigration issues, but will not cover admissibility hearings, detention reviews, appeals, visas, sponsorships, Humanitarian and Compassionate applications, permanent residency, or citizenship.
