Q: What are mirror wills or mutual wills?

A: Mirror or mutual wills are made by two people who wish to leave everything to each other. That is, each person makes a will. The two wills have the same terms: that is, each will maker is the beneficiary of the other’s estate (property and possessions) or names the same beneficiaries in (e.g., children or parents) as the other will maker does.
