Certain organizations may have their own departments to deal with human rights, especially discrimination and harassment.
Universities
The University of Alberta has a Safe Disclosure and Human Rights Advisor who provides information and referrals to staff, faculty, and students. The University has discrimination, harassment, and accommodation policies in place. The University also has an ombuds service for students. The service helps the student understand university processes and may help you tell your story.
