It is up to a creditor to decide if they are willing to give you credit after you have gone through a bankruptcy.  You may be required to secure any future loans or to pay higher interest rates.  The fact that you went through a bankruptcy will stay on your credit report for six years, and credit-reporting agencies will give you the lowest possible credit score.  After you are discharged, it is a good idea to send a copy of the order to the major credit-reporting agencies to update your file.
