A: As a bankrupt, you have a duty to assist the trustee in all reasonable capacities. This includes the following: making a statement of all your assets, liabilities, and creditors; delivering all your property to the trustee; telling the trustee about any gifts that you have given out within the past 5 years; attending the first meeting of creditors; and keeping the trustee informed of your whereabouts.
